Hello everyone,
Got an A520F stuck in download mode hoping to fix it. I am intermediate with Samsung/Odin software, I wanted to install the latest update via Odin but I was still getting an error.
When I tried to flash an official ROM, Odin failed with an error "Secure check fail: pit" on the phone and "Re-partition Operation Failed" on Odin. I scoured forums with people having similar issues and tried repartitioning with many PIT files from the CSC files but nothing helped. Note that the checkbox for Re-partition would not be checked nor for Nand Erase.
I tried to root the device using "twrp-3.7.0_9-0-a5y17lte.img" but I still get the same error and I'm stuck in download mode, unable to access recovery as well.
The download screen displays

When I searched the IMEI, I got this model name Full Model Name: SM-A520FZKAXFV, hence why I tried to flash with these versions
"SM-A520F_XFV_A520FXXUCCSK1 / A520F_XFV_A520FXXUBCSJ1 / SM-A520F_XFV_A520FXXUGCTKA" using Odin v 3.14.1 / Odin v3. 13.2. Blinking with BL+AP+CP+CSC gives "Failed secure verification: pit" I even tried with HOME_CSC (but nothing works either). I'll try flashing with BTU Rom in the sense while I wait for a response. Does anyone have any idea what I could try
? caused by using a ROM from the wrong region?
If so, can I know which region the phone is asking me?
